Hard to believe a year’s flown by since our last update.
I saw many of you when I was back on furlough this summer. Still, had plans to send more news of the work here. Lord willing you’ll receive some more updates in the coming days and weeks.
It’s really been an incredible year. Our Jesus in the Streets ministry, worship in Derby Park has tripled in size! The Lord brought us new volunteers and more people to help. But please pray for guidance as we’re trying to decide if maybe we’ve reached our limit on how many people we can effectively serve on Sundays.
I’ll share more soon about our work with Christland and ILI leadership training. For now I just wanted to share with you our annual Christmas party with the Church in the Street ministry. Last year we served 800 hot meals. This year, to meet the need we upped that to 1,000! Adults ate a healthy meal, children played and received presents, and we shared about and celebrated the birth of the King.

One last thing. Please be praying for a special project I’ll share more about next week. The French Bible Society (L’Alliance Biblique Française) has an amazing project to provide Bibles for the homeless. The Lord has put it on my heart to do what I can to help them. More on that soon.
