…I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:7

Could it be that the angels rejoice, not the least because a lost soul has been saved, but also because they know how far that soul can wander, how long it can take them to believe, to repent, to be found, and to be saved…? Oh Lord, may we never give up.
