Dear partners in prayer,
Thank you so much for your perseverance in prayer for our ministry. The last few months brought some struggles and challenges but there’s plenty of good news from the work here! We have a lot to catch you up on over the next few weeks.
I wanted to share a video of our Christmas worship service this past Sunday. Paulo brought an excellent message and together our team provided not only breakfast but hygiene kits (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap and a shaver for the men as well as absorbent pads for the ladies), and rolls of cookies for all.
Since the middle of the year our team has been organizing Sunday children’s classes for the many children brought by the single mom’s from the Joana Bezerra bairro. The team organized individual presents for each of the children, something really special for each one. You’ll see how thrilled the children were.

Most of the adults you see being served are homeless. In great need and most thankful, not only for the meal and gifts, but also the Good News our team brings. Some of the ladies you see helping serve and later with the children are their single mothers. They are not homeless, though some have struggled with that in the past. They have become our fellow servants in this ministry and are very loving mothers to the children they do their best to raise under difficult circumstances. We’ll be sharing more about these very special ladies soon.
I don’t need to say much more. It’s all there in the short video. Please do watch and see just some of the good your prayers and support are bringing about in our loving Father’s Kingdom. And truly, as Jesus said “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
